One idea I could mention is that when people are in frame of mind to consider and help other people at the time of year from Thanksgiving through Christmas, it would be quite beneficial to many to just continue on with helping the same people through the following months. When people don't have family or friends to be with through the holidays , they still have the same needs afterwards.
